Hard-Boiled Eggs |
Method: |
- Place eggs in a single layer in a pan. Stacked layers of eggs will cook unevenly.
- Add water. Ensure that the water level is at least an inch above the eggs.
- Bring pan to boil for 20-25 minutes. Add salt to increase the boiling temperature.
- Run cold water over the eggs before peeling. This will make peeling an easy job.

Fried Eggs |
Method: |
- Gently heat enough butter or oil to cover the base of pan.
- Break egg into pan and baste continuously for about 3-4 minutes.

Omelettes |
Method: |
- Lightly beat eggs and water together.
- Pre-heat pan until hot.
- 3. Place a dob of butter in pan.
- 4. Pour in egg mixture.
- Draw the egg mixture to the center, allowing uncooked egg to flow underneath. Continue until mixture no longer flows.
- Place filling on one side of omelette. Fold and turn out onto serving plate.

Poached Eggs |
Method: |
- Boil water in a pan.
- Reduce heat until water is barely simmering.
- Crack egg in a cup and gently slip the egg into the water.
- Cook for about 3 minutes.
- 5. Remove egg with a perforated spoon or ladle.

Scrambled Eggs |
Method: |
- Beat eggs with fork, adding a little salt and pepper.
- Heat a shallow layer of oil in a pan on low heat.
- Pour eggs in and stir slowly with a wooden spoon until thick and creamy.

Sunny-Side Up |
Method: |
- Lace a non-stick pan with oil. Heat pan until hot.
- Add egg and fry over moderate heat.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes, basting continuously.
